We adopt primarily to the Peninsula, to the South Bay, Monterey County, and Santa Cruz. Riley is playful, affectionate, and happy. He is about 1-2 years old and is an Aussie mix. He was the star of his obedience class in his prior home and loved the resident cats and female dog. He originally came out of the shelter as an under-socialized puppy and has made great strides. After about one day, you can hardly tell he had a rough start in life. However, he is unsure meeting strangers and the best home for him is one where he won't have people he doesn't know coming and going all the time. He is fine in his dog training classes and taking him out and about but he shrinks from people trying to touch him. If you have a quiet type home with no kids and think Riley would be a good fit,
