Ruby is a sweet chocolate and rust colored chihuahua/min pin mix. She came to the shelter as a stray, but no one came to claim her so now she is awaiting her new forever home! Ruby is a sweet little gal who is a little bit shy and scared of new people but she quickly warms up. Ruby would benefit from a family willing to spend time socializing her to the world and helping her see that things aren't so scary.
We introduced Ruby to another small dog here at the shelter and she did well. At first, she was nervous about the other dog and was scared of her, but after a few minutes she came out of her shell and wanted to play and be friends. Ruby would do best in a home with kids 16+ and in a quieter home.
