Bruno is a 18 month old, large, male German Shepherd who is about 90 pounds. Bruno was surrendered to us directly from the owner as they did not have time to train him and he is a strong boy. Bruno is well bred and has a lovely temperament. During his time in foster care he has learned basic obedience, is house-trained and is good riding in a car.
Due to his size and strength, Bruno needs a home with someone who has dog training experience. He loves people. Strong dog savvy kids over 10 could be ok. He is also a playful, active boy who loves playing with toys and going on walks, hikes and jogs, so needs owners who will provide regular, daily exercise.
Bruno is good with other compatible large dogs but has high prey drive and so should not be with small dogs or cats. He has a good alarm bark and is otherwise quiet. Bruno is crate-trained and walks well on a leash if he respects you. He would be a great dog for active adopters who have good German Shepherd management experience.
